Emporia’s William Allen White is one of four statues on the second floor rotunda at the Kansas Capitol. The others are Eisenhower (as a General), Amelia Earhart, and Arthur Capper. It was difficult to find a good angle to take a picture of WAW because of his portliness. Most angles just accented his big belly. …
