Of sunshine. Can’t remember what it looks like. Went to Arkansas, hoping to see the sun. It wasn’t there either. This reminds me of Ray Bradbury’s “All Summer in a Day.” My battery is draining. Yesterday morning in Eureka Springs, there were thinning clouds, enough light to cast a shadow, but the chouds quickly mended …
Regarding Comments
Something New! I’ve noticed on other people’s blogs that commenters have the option of being notified when additional comments are made to a post. I asked Dave to see if that was possible on Flyover People. And of course, Dave was successful in finding and applying the doodad because he’s the computer genius and all. …
Times, they are a changin’
Several years ago, I bought a new alarm clock, a “smart” clock, the box said. Part of its smartness was that it would change itself to and from Daylight Saving Time. Some people hate the time change for various reasons, and some hate it just because they have to change all the clocks in their …
Porch of Angels

New Look
*** Last night Dave put together this new look for the Flyover site. Ain’t it beautiful? ***
Random
25 Random Things About Me Several people tagged me on this on Facebook- Greg Jordan, Roger Heineken, Tracy Simmons, so I thought I’d make the list. 1. I prefer Diet Coke to Diet Pepsi. 2. Bud Light over Coors Light. 3. I’m a natural blonde. 4. Several years ago, I dyed my hair brown. I …
Wasting Time
OK, I should be writing. But while doing actual research for a column, I wandered onto a web site with dozens of Kansas links. One of those links was to the Kansas Treasurer’s Office, the Unclaimed Money division. So – I typed in my name, nothing, then family names. When I started typing in names …
