At ESU’s International Food Festival on March 3, I purchased some food from the Japanese table. The menu was helpful.

 

Teriyaki Chicken Sushi.

The matcha rolled cakes was tasty, not overly sweet. Red beans on cake is pretty good. Who knew?

    Ruyi makes a couple of things with that red bean paste and I love it. Have you tried the sesame balls there? They have red bean paste them. I have had my friends try them and try to guess what is inside!

    I love them. The first time I tried them, I couldn’t figure out whether I loved them or hated them. I had to eat about 6 or 7 to figure out that I did! Very unique!
