Today’s Flyover People column as seen in The Emporia Gazette: KANSAS TALKING BOOKS I recently spent a number of hours in a recording studio. No, I wasn’t singing – nobody wants to hear that. I recorded my book “Flyover People” for Kansas Talking Books. It was a fun process and I was glad to be […]

April 11th, 2012 at 5:28 am

On the floor as you walk in the east door of the ESU Memorial Union. The Union is still undergoing it’s renovation, but a lot of the work has been completed now, and it’s nice. Very classy and it’s a building that ESU can be very proud of.

March 12th, 2012 at 9:32 am

ESU’s new front door

January 5th, 2012 at 1:53 pm

I was at the ESU Union this morning. The interior is still in the remodeling process, but the east side has been done for awhile and it looks marvelous. And it was such a clean (and warm) day for a photo.

Plumb Hall

November 17th, 2010 at 7:44 am

I took some photos of EUS’s Plumb Hall a couple of weeks ago when I was there to speak to a class. It was definitely fall then. Today, I think we’re doing the switchover to winter.

Susie and Jim Aber won Best of Show for “Kite’s-Eye View,” an aerial photo taken at Presque Isle and Lake Erie in Pennsylvania. It’s a team photo because they work together sending up the kite and camera and taking photos by remote control. You can see more of their photos on the Abers’ website, Geospectra, […]
