I had a chile relleno and an enchilada. It was pretty good.
Just inside the restaurant door is a Kansas mural. It’s a colorful restaurant, inside and out.

I really like those murals. I need to get a book on mural making. I looked for workshops, but they are beyond my means. I’m sure they’re worth it though.
While that chile relleno looks mighty tasty, being a New Mexican makes me a food pedant. Any relleno worth its salt requires chile verde, not chile rojo. That’s Kansas for you. ;-(
When I lived in Albuquerque, my usual answer to the official state question of “Red or Green?” was “Christmas”. Best of both worlds! Tom – you must be from the southern part of the state?
Just give me the rellano and nobody gets hurt.
