By Yo, Peoples. The weather folks at NOAA are saying there’s a pretty good chance that the temperatures this winter will be above normal.
Which sounds good until they add that we are also in an area that that may have Above Normal levels for precipitation.
Didn’t we have enough wintry precip last year?
Can’t we opt out or something?
Did we? I don’t remember last Winter being too bad. Was it? I think I remember griping about the cold. I don’t do cold so well anymore.
Maybe all my Kansas Winters are running together.
I remember one when we lived in Emporia and we had temps in the 60s one Winter. Was funny to see people walkign around in their shirt sleeves.
Last winter, as I remember, the precip didn’t start until December, but then it snowed or sleeted or freezing rained every single week. A winter storm every single week.

Ah, well, so much for my Winter memory. i just remember feeling triumphant when I managed to stay warm.
