Today, city crews are removing scrub, junk, dead and diseased trees from the park tract very soon the huge 48′ diameter shelter will be going up near the East Street side of the park.
We had a meeting with city officials and service club representatives yesterday at noon. There have been some physical issues on the tract that have made it necessary to adjust locations of park elements.
