Steve Graham in yet another of his Hawaiian shirts. Now that he’s modeled this one, he’ll have to put it at the back of the closet and pull out a different one for the next Farmers Market.

Steve Graham wasn’t wearing his usual Hawaiian shirt this morning at the market. He had slipped back into the ’60s in this groovy tie-dyed shirt with the Emporia Farmers Market logo.
Special edition Farmers Market shirts are available – but there’s a limited supply. If they didn’t sell out this morning, you may have a chance [...]
I’ve been so busy and I’ve gotten way behind on my picture posting. Here’s Steve posing with another of his cool shirts. I’m not sure if this was from last Wednesday or Saturday – I’m lost in my own world these days. Here’s the rest of his collection that I’ve recorded.
I had a chance to visit with Bob Karr of The Orchard at Saturday’s Farmers Market. Don’t remember what he was talking about here, but maybe it was his trip to Finland.
Since the weather can wreak havoc on his orchard, I asked him how the apples were coming along this year. “It’s a branch-breaking year,” [...]
Bob Arndt
Bob and Christine Arndt were at Saturday’s Farmers Market with flowers and veggies and Bob’s Breakfast-Energy Bars. I love those breakfast bars, the honey-nut-chocolate chip bars. A bouquet of flowers for sale at Emporia’s Farmers Market on Saturday.
Oh boy, corn hit the Emporia Farmers Market this week. And now there are six ears in my refrigerator.
Bob Karr at The Orchard grew some cherries and sold them at today’s Farmers Market.
Rachael LeClear, left, talks to a woman about her rain barrels for sale.
Read about the rain barrels in today’s Emporia Gazette: Water the lawn, wash your hair.
The bright light that Rand emits is nearly blinding. Tracy shields her eyes. The Simmons [...]
At this morning’s market, flowers and herbs. Overcast and mid-60s.
Record-breaking day – the earliest the market has ever seen tomatoes. Hoop-house or hot-house or some kind of indoor-ish tomatoes.
And the European Bakeshop of Hartford brought scones and croissants, cookies, bread…
