In Boulder, our favorite restaurant, both for atmosphere and food was the Dushanbe Teahouse. The teahouse was a gift to Boulder from its sister city, Dushanbe in Tajikistan. The place had an incredible international menu. I had the Indian Masala Dosa. It was fabulous. Dave enjoyed his paella. Dining room. Ceiling.

On our way to Boulder in September, Dave and I visited Manitou Springs adjacent to Colorado Springs. It’s definitely a touristy place. We stopped at the Sarhara Cafe and enjoyed falafel and hummus and all of that good stuff. Part of the old cog railroad up Pike’s Peak.
