I stopped by Studio 11 last week to purchase a stocking cap because hey, it’s winter. And it’s almost Christmas – look there’s the tree and the Christmas records.
Some of us are old enough to remember slipping the LPs out of the jacket and then out of the sleeve and placing the record on the turntable and lifting the needle.
And a Christmas rooster. But it’s not for sale.
Studio 11 is at 606 Commercial, Emporia.
The place has got panache, joi de vivre, a spark of something. Makes me wonder if we could sell Jim’s trees & my wine charms there, just for a bit of whimsy. For what it’s worth, we still have a fully functional turntable & a slew of LPs.
