My mom and Dave and I ate dinner at the Hays House in Council Grove on Sunday.

This was a very good meal. Great fried chicken, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh green beans and homemade roll with butter. Excellent.
There isn’t much moss on you and Dave, is there. You’re always on the go.
I have so many wonderful memories of the Hays House. My parents used to meet us there (about halfway between Emporia and Woodbine) for Sunday dinner and it was ALWAYS perfect! Where’s the strawberry pie? (they have the BEST desserts!) –and the best strawberry pie anywhere!!
