I have to say … the library in Boulder, Colorado is fabulous. I mean, all libraries are fabulous, but this one is so cool.

There are a few quotes on stones outside the entrance.

Boulder Public Library

So much natural light. I fell in love with this place.

Very Star-Treky.

OK, so there are two buildings – the older building and the newer one. The newer one houses the books. The older building houses the art and other stuff.

Anyway, in between the two buildings is this walkway. And there are tables along the windows, so someone like me could sit and write and look out on this lovely view….

Boulder Creek (ignore the glass glare). Yes, Boulder Creek!

I’ll show better photos of the cairns in the stream later.

From that vantage point on the walkway, you can see the new building, which also has a view of Boulder Creek.

As I was walking by the mystery section, I stopped to snap photos of the shelf space taken by famous Kansas author, Nancy Pickard.
