At the Kansas Sampler Festival which was held earlier this month in Leavenworth there was some pancake flipping going on.

The Sampler Festival moves around Kansas every two years to expose a different area’s audience to the event and also as a way to get people to travel to other regions of the state.

The move next year takes the festival from Leavenworth to Liberal, the opposite end of the state.

And to introduce the audience to Liberal, the planners for next year’s festival added a little pancake flipping contest to see how many times contestants could flip a pancake in two minutes. The guy in the middle won. He was quite the flipper.

So, next May, Liberal.
