Yesterday, in Wichita, Dave and I met some friends at the Old Mill Tasty Shop for brunch.

I didn’t sample any of the fountain drinks or ice cream products, but they were available.

I had the breakfast burro. Very good. Never had donkey before. Seriously, is there a culinary difference between a burrito and a burro?

And my burro came with these yummy fried potatoes and also two huge slices of homemade wheat toast.

  1. Culinary wise, to most there is no difference… actually, a burro is a donkey, and a burrito is a little or smaller donkey. Typically, a burro would be a larger sandwich, with sides such as your delicious looking taters etc. A burrito usually is just one smaller burro without the side dishes. I have eaten in Mexican eateries where the burrito ordered was so big, three of us stuffed ourselves with one order. True. But, then you already knew all of this… Hahah.!
