At this morning’s market, flowers and herbs. Overcast and mid-60s.
Record-breaking day – the earliest the market has ever seen tomatoes. Hoop-house or hot-house or some kind of indoor-ish tomatoes.
And the European Bakeshop of Hartford brought scones and croissants, cookies, bread…
One of Steve Graham’s cool shirts.
It was fun, and a little windy…I saw Roger once and never saw him again! Cheryl was at the European Bake Shop the same time I was. I was going to take just one little bite of the blueberry scone…and before I realized it, I’d eaten the WHOLE scone! ummmmm…..so good. I bought tomatoes so I can have my favorite sandwich–grilled cheese with fresh tomatoes—tuna salad fits in with that, too. (It sounds like I live to eat!) –and beautiful gorgeous flowers!

Millard sneaked over to the Farmers Market when he was at work. The tomatoes are so delicious.
Are they there on Wed too?
The Wednesday afternoon markets do not begin until mid June, Onnalee.
