Dave and I went to dinner early this evening. Ruyi is having half-price specials from 2-4:30 last week and this week. I had the General Tso’s chicken (and brought more than half of it home). HOT and sour soup also came with the meal (regularly $6.25).

Dave had pork with mushrooms.

We go to RuYi a lot (it’s one of the best places in town), but I made a point to take my camera tonight – because my brother sent me this article today: First Camera, then Fork. (I realized I hadn’t posted a photo of my meals lately.)

  1. That looks good. We have got to remember to eat there next time we are in town for lunch. We forgot last time, then remembered before we left town, but too late, we’d already eaten. So, next time…

BTW, rumor has it that the diner in Madison is going to be repaired and reopen. I hope that is true.

  2. FOP gathering soon? I could maybe manage to come over this weekend. Not gonna get the garage cleaned out as I’d hoped so I might as well eat!

  3. That’s exactly what I had last Friday noon–the pork with mushrooms–and brought home leftovers for supper! The week before I had the coconut shrimp! YUM!
