Thanks for sharing. It is sad when an era comes to an end. Thank goodness we have documentation of what went on before. I love the small town newspaper. Every morning I click on the Lawrence Journal World to see what is happening in Eastern Kansas. We tried keeping a subscription, but it took 3 or 4 days to get to Texas, so having it on the internet is wonderful but it doesn’t supply any money to the paper or the area to keep it from shutting down someday too. I hope that never happens.
