It’s brand new, the lodge at Camp Wood near Elmdale, a YMCA camp. Tonight was the dinner for Symphony in the Flint Hills volunteers (Dave was a volunteer – photography team leader). This is also a self-portrait – see our long shadows? We are very tall and skinny.

The streamers are Symphony in the Flint Hills streamers.
The Tallgrass Express String Band played beautiful music. They played all through the event. They were playing when we arrived at 5:20 and played through the meal, until after 7 p.m.

The lodge opened in May, so it has seen its first season of summer campers.
Oh! My Goodness! This is beautiful! I have heard so much about Camp Wood but have not been there. This is a must see and so wonderful for everyone! Great job, Cheryl!
