I may have a broken foot.
Yesterday, I was wearing new shoes while rope jumping, shoes that apparently aren’t as sturdy as my others, and I landed on the side of my foot, it turned under, I went down. At least I did get a good workout in BEFORE I crashed, ’cause I don’t think I’ll be jumping rope for awhile. Waaa!
So, anyway, I may be posting less – it might be too much trouble to hobble over to the computer. (Thank goodness – and thank Dave- for my Ipod – I can check mail and facebook from my recliner.)
Exercise and athletics contributes to the soaring cost of health care, also.
Ugh! Is it bruised and swollen? Hope it heals fast.
sorry was you doing the double slap? thats when you go through twice with the rope on one jump. put it in warm epeson saltz or are you a ice person. get well soon and think of me on sept 2.
That sounds downright painful.
I bet it’s black and blue this morning.
Heal fast Cheryl!
I didn’t mean to not express solicitous concern.
Sorry about your broken ankle, Cheryl.
Not the ankle. Just a itty bitty bone in the foot. This is so annoying.
Broken foot? Painful… hope you’re ok. Solicitous concern from here too!
Oh, that sounds painful. What do you need?
At least you were doing something great and not, like my DS, being a ballet dancer!
Go get your toenails trimmed and painted. Everyone under the sun will be staring at your foot! lol
Been there, done that, and can sympathize with both the pain and the frustration of not being able to get up and go. I met some nice folks along the way during my recovery in the physical therapy field that I would never have met otherwise. We have become friends with their extended family as well.
Good thing you didn’t take a fall from wearing these shoes: http://www.gizmag.com/powerbocking/12337/ But maybe after you recover, you can try out a pair . . . jump tall buildings with a single bound . . .
Get well soon!
