sidewalk-sale

Shoppers had a coolish morning for the annual sidewalk sale. It was a nice sidewalk sale today.

But my mind goes back to when I moved to town, many years ago, and they blocked off Commercial Street for the last-Wednesday-in-July sale. The street was full of merchandise.  I loved Litwin’s and they had 1/2 of 1/2 sales. That was during a phase when I wore dresses and I bought some of the cutest things – at great prices.

fm-july2Jim’s back! Jim Wallace has been busy with other things the past two months – and his fans and friends have missed him. Today, he was back with the eggs (brown) and the buffalo, hamburger and veggies. (And thanks, Jim, for sending Tracy after me – she had cookies!)

European Bake Shop sells some goodies to our dear Kim (and Gary), who are sadly moving away. Lucky Ohio.

Cookies, courtesy of Kamen, the baker (and Tracy – she delivered them, and Evie – she helped Kamen bake them.) I’ll give these cookies a blue ribbon! Very good.

  1. Laughing. Yes. I went through this freakishly not-me stage when I wore a lot of dresses. That’s when I worked in the courthouse and had my hair in ’80s perms. Eeeks.
