On our trip back from Arkansas in May, we traveled through SE Kansas. At lunchtime we were in the Pittsburg area and thought we’d try one of those famous chicken places – Chicken Mary’s or Chicken Annie’s. BUT, it seems they are only open in the evenings (and maybe for Sunday lunches, too, I don’t remember.) Anyway, they weren’t open and we were hungry.
In Pittsburg, we found the Typhoon – so we ate there.
Two months later, I’ve forgotten what I had, but it was good.
