Tables in Emporia were loaded today with lots of color, lots of green leafy things. I brought home spinach, lettuce, beets, new potatoes, buffalo and …. blueberry scones and a chocolate croissant.
Because, yes, the European Bakeshop in Hartford was there with their goodies.
Jim Wallace, peddling beets, new potatoes, eggs, noodles and meat, told me that today is his wife’s birthday. Happy Birthday, Marilyn!
Paul and Amber Beadles had mulberries and cherries for sale.
