A beautiful sunny day for the Farmers Market. Summer’s here. It might hit 90 this afternoon.
Saw friends this morning: Roger and Susan and Ele and Tracy and Maddie. Jim and Alex and Tracey and Steve and Terry. Lu and Ann and Karen.
Part of my haul – fresh strawberries and asparagus. Also nabbed some hot house cucumbers. And ground beef and buffalo and a dozen eggs.
I was too late for the strawberries or the asparagus, but Cheryl generously offered me strawberries. I took one and ate it–delicious!–and I think I even forgot to thank her. Thank you, dear Cheryl! It tasted so good that I had to go buy strawberries at Dillons!
I did buy lettuce & spinach and eggs and a weird plant at the market, and we had a lettuce salad for supper with baked potatoes and some kind of steaks–KC strips, maybe, that my DS grilled. –and then strawberries & ice cream! (I tried NOT to think of the asparagus that we weren’t having..)
–and, next week I’ll be there earlier!
