  1. It just struck me what that bench says. Summer annex! LOL That tickled me to call a couple of benches the summer annex. Someone with a sense of humor was thinking that day.

I am really looking forward to that hotel being refurbished. I hope they get moving on it soon. I mean, I plan on living a long time, and hope that thing is done in my lifetime.

The Midland Hotel in Lincoln has closed, sadly enough. If I was a multi-billionaire I think I’d go into the hotel business and open the Midland and fix up and open the Greenwood. Ah well, dreams. If I had a nickle for each of my dreams, well, I’d have a lot of dreams, huh?

  2. If anyone is interested, here’s a link that shows a picture of the “Spit and Argue Club” that met at Rainbow Pier in Long Beach, California, before I was born.

That the bottom picture. The top one is of Rainbow Pier. That has changed a lot LOT since my childhood. All of Long Beach is so different. It used to be a very beautiful place.

  3. I like that building too. And Janet If I were a billionaire too we’d go into business together and refurb all the old Hotels in an all the small towns and go into business together. The world needs saved one building at a time. At least take architectural salvage from each to enhance others. Recycle, reuse!!!

  4. Why April, that would be delightful to rescue all the old Hotels that we could in all the small towns we could. Our next step though is to figure out how to become multi-billionaires.
