In 2005, I took this photo of the tavern in Neosho Falls.
And Dave took this one.
When we returned to Neosho Falls a year or so later, the tavern was closed. That was sad. Because every town needs a gathering place of some kind.
HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN.
I received an e-mail this morning from Whitney Martinez who says the place is open again and is called the Oasis.
FOr a moment I thought this was the one at Neosho Rapids. It looks similar, from what I remember anyway. I’ve only been in the one in Neosho Rapids, and that was about 13 or 14 years ago. Maybe all small town bars look similar.
Midnight at the Oasis… send your camel to bed…
I meant similar inside. Outside is quite different.
