On Saturday at The Merc in Lawrence, a gentleman at a vendor table offered me a piece of toffee from a Kansas company – Tall Grass Toffee in Lenexa.
Their products contain no preservatives! No high fructose corn syrup! No trans fat!

The hands-on 4-1-1 from this reporter: Yum. It was delicious. Smooth.
When a little girl came up to the table, the gentleman asked her if she’d like a piece of toffee. “Say yes,” I told the girl. “It’s very good.”
Now, unfortunately, I temporarily have this whole calorie-counting thing going on because if I have to turn 50, I wanna look good doing it, so I didn’t buy a bag, but I wanted to.
Anyway, it’s always fun to find great and tasty Kansas products. And they sell online.
