A year is a measurable chunk of time. Sometimes we examine the years of our lives from birthday to birthday, but often we think in terms of a calendar year.

Each December, many of us reflect on the current year and raise dreams for the next one.

Julia Fabris McBride, a life coach who lives in Matfield Green, has created a calendar for December. For each day, she gives us something to ponder, a way to delve into our hearts and minds and souls, to think about how we want to live our lives, what directions we’d like to head next.

Check out Julia’s calendar: December 2008 – A Month of Reflection and Intention.

I’m posting her link with permission. At the bottom of that newsletter/calendar page, Julia has written:

  1. Oh gosh, I think my main thought last year was trying to recover from knee surgery. I was in dreadful pain the entire year of 2007. So, it was not an excellent year in that way.

I am better this year. But still have a ways to go. Let that be a lesson for all. If you have pain that can be improved, don’t wait as long as I did to get it fixed. I could have been better faster and I’d also not have declined as much or have as far to go to get strong and better again.
