Greensburg has a shiny new water tower. Isn’t it pretty?
Like the old one, this one says “Greensburg – Home of the Big Well.”
And that dark spot in the sky to the right of the water tower? That’s a kite.
Our friends Jim and Susie Aber sent their kite up in the air over Greensburg. They can attach a camera and with a remote control they take aerial photos. But there has to be a steady wind to lift the camera – something along the lines of 15 mph. But, it was not windy enough to fly the kite that day. In Western Kansas! Not windy enough. I know, that sounds like crazy talk, but that’s the way it was.
