Not a lucky cat’s foot. This one is attached to a live cat.
Some of Tiger’s feet have all pink pads. This foot is more interesting. Ever notice how cats don’t like you to mess with their feet?

In 2003, we went to Council Grove to Fred’s house (Dave works with Fred) to see if we wanted any of the kittens that a stray cat gave birth to in his laundry room. There were two gray kittens and two Tiger-striped kittens. I chose a gray one and Dave chose the oneriest of them all, one of the two Tiger-striped kittens.
But the two Tiger-striped kittens looked alike. Except our future Tiger had this dark spot on the back paw. So when we went back a few weeks later to claim our kittens, we grabbed the one with the spot.
