I bought a batch of beets. Not quite sure how to cook them. Don’t think I’ve ever made beets from scratch before.

There’s Jim. He said he’ll be at the market on Wednesday afternoon, but next Saturday is a granddaughter’s wedding, so he won’t be here.
The afternoon markets begin this Wednesday. 5 p.m.
Oh that all looks so good! Tomatoes! Without salmonella I’m sure! Better ask Tracy or Cheryl P. or Ele about those beets, Cheryl. The bird house gourds look fun!
Those veggies look so much better than the ones in the stores! I like to chop or shred beets raw for my salads. They’re so tough and messy, though. Dh and the kids turn up their noses at them and I’m afraid I’ve let several go bad in the fridge this year while I continued to put off preparing them.
