They’re not goofing off. Really. They’re waiting for the wheelbarrows – which are on the other side of the house.

  1. Thanks for the coverage, Cheryl. It was a long day but we are ready for sod this coming week. Jeff pull out for home at 9PM. He arrived at at 9:30 AM. Several had started tasks before that.

At peak times, we had over 25 people working on various aspects of the install. By mid afternoon when the steel edging went down, trees and plants went in and mulch was spread the place was transformed. Prep for sod was the boring task.

  2. As we like to say — Proud to be a Phi! We had a heck of day with lots of hard work. With all of the alumnia nd actives workign together we were able to get more accomplished than I expected.

Sod should be installed Wednesday — weather permitting!

That is when it will will fianlly look finished!

All in all — we accomplished the equivilant of $14,000 worth of labor in one afternoon!

I wish I had this kind of crew working for me for free everyday — I’d be a millionaire!
