The chefs at ESU’s Skyline room prepared a Kansas Day menu today:

A birthday cake for Kansas. What, no candles? Should be… 147 of them.

The Skyline room is currently hosting an exhibit of Dave’s recent photographs, a display called “Gathering Winter.” Roger Heineken asked Dave to exhibit the photos.

OK, I’m not a fan of winter, but Dave’s wintry photos are beautiful – there are black cattle in the snow and trains and tracks, a plowed field and the Howe House barn and many others.

Visit the Skyline Room on the second floor of ESU’s Memorial Union to see these photos.

And, in mid-February, Dave will be exhibiting his work at the Emporia Arts Center.
