I was sitting at my desk writing last night and I see Tom headed to my front door carrying a box of something. He’s brought ceramic churches – including the one in the photograph I took of the First Presbyterian Church in Parsons.

And he brought one of the Catholic Church, that I did not take a photo of. (I can’t take a picture of everything! We saw 20 towns in 12 hours on Saturday.)

Tom has these churches because he is from Parsons. And that’s what they do in Parsons, collect ceramic churches. He told us about all the things in Parsons that we did not see. Including this Catholic Church, St. Patrick’s….

  1. Thanks Tom for sharing your ceramic churches with Cheryl so that she could show them to us. Cheryl, you mentioned that the one picture looked like the typical “Methodist Church” – well, that was what Millard and I thought about the Presbyterian church. We thought it was a typical “Presbyterian Church” and sure enough it was. That is one beautiful church – and the picture was a perfect picture of it.
