Back to the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock.

I loved the natural light in this building. For me, the more windows the better (well, except during tornadoes and hail storms.) Anyway, the natural light was especially useful because they didn’t allow flash photos in the building.

This is a green building. A handout says, “The Clinton Center uses 34% less energy than comparable ‘code compliant buildings.'” And over 23% less potable water than a comparable building. Its “specially-designed glass is insulated and glazed to reduce heat gain.”

It has solar panels and radiant floor coiling heating and cooling. And so on….

An alcove reflects Clinton’s promotion of education (in those days before No Child was Left Behind).

Here’s the White House China that was used during State Dinners. An exhibit told about the preparations that go into State Events. Guest lists are made, seating arrangements, the menu is planned, programs printed, etc. And with every State visit is the gift exchange…

These are some of the gifts President Clinton received during his time in office.
