Deborah Vogts was one of nine authors attending the book signing at Town Crier Bookstore on April 3.

Deborah Vogts, who studied English and journalism at ESU, lives in Erie and has a three-book contract with Zondervan Publishing. writes Christian romance novels. Ranching and family life are a big part of these books set in the Flint Hills, they’re not just romance novels, she says.

Her first novel, “Snow Melts in Spring,” is available.  The second “Seeds of Summer” will be launched during the Strong City Rodeo in June. That book is about a former Miss Rodeo Kansas.

And she’s working on the third book now.

Deborah was recently featured in Country magazine: Romance in the Flint Hills.
