This brick building (right) houses the Hartford City Hall. "Union Hall 1883" is written at the top of the west side of the building.

The Hartford Collegiate Institute (below) now serves as the Senior Citizens Center. Jones Park is on this block with shaded picnic areas, a skateboard park/basketball court, and public restrooms--nice ones with running water and electricity--which are here courtesy of the Ryan M. Hair Memorial and the Jones Trust.
