  1. We plan to be there tomorrow, excited about it. Actually, we’d wanted to go today, on our way home from Lebo, but I could barely walk by then, so tomorrow, Toad Hollow Will be our first stop.

  2. Today a former Emporia who now lives in San Diego attended Art in the Garden. LaRetta Small is a water color artist and visits flyoverpeople.net. Cheryl and Dave were able to meet her. She isn’t a discussion board registrant but we encouraged her to become registered.

A couple from Key West Florida visited late in the day. A couple from Wichita had attended the Mulvane Art Fair in Topeka, stopped in Emporia at Dayton’s Hobby and Crafts to check their bead selection, heard about the Art in the Garden and came on out.

I ordered a pair of prints from Dave, my favorite photographic artist.

Generally, many exhibiting sold well today. The Gazette provided wonderful coverage of the event and a steady stream of people visited up through 5:30 PM. I expect a good clip of visitors throughout the day Sunday, also.
