Echo Cliff
Gosh, it was June when Dave and I stopped in at Echo Cliff. This summer has been so busy and crazy and has gone so fast, that I can’t keep up. Anyway, Echo Cliff is near Dover in Shawnee County. Yes, shout and your voice does echo.
A visitor
I looked up from my writing chair a few minutes ago and noticed a big fluttery creature hovering over the August-blooming lilac, so I went out to greet my company. He/she didn’t have much to say, but seemed to be enjoying the lilac nectar.
Lilacs, revisited
Our lilac bush blooms twice a year, once in April and again in August. The August version has less gusto, but it’s a-bloomin’ nevertheless.
