Barton County, near Ellinwood. The wind was blowing and I heard that dry wheat-on-wheat sound, the raspy whiskers rattling like a rattle snake.
Pony Cart Ride
Dave and I went to a country wedding on Sunday and afterwards, I got to ride in a pony cart. Yeah! The land is seriously beautiful this time of year.
At the Symphony
At Saturday’s Symphony in the Flint Hills, two people sat to admire the view. During the pre-concert hours, wildflower talks and walks were offered.
