Why does the bird wear shoes?
So he can stomp on Wildcats?
He hangs around the Memeorial Union so he can watch the girls.
Okay — so the next picture is probably from Monday, too. Guess we didn’t almost catch each other in Lawrence.
If I may ask, being unfamiliar with poultry and other featherwearing animals, how do I know the bird to be a he?
Why when the official name is the University of Kansas are the letters KU used rather than UK? Just asking. That is like ESU being called USE.
J.P. It’s a he. I raised his tailfeathers and took a look.
Roger – If I remember right, it used to be called Kansas University – when I attended. The T-shirts I bought at the time said “Kansas University.” At some point, they switched it around to the U of KS.
Don’t know if it makes a difference out your way, but around here “UK” is a “dirty word” because it refers to the University of Kentucky.
