While in Topeka today, I stopped by the grand opening of Shawnee Animal Hospital at 2113 SW Gage Blvd. My friend, Shirley Fouse, D.V.M., recently purchased this place.
I went to Macksville High School with Shirley and she was the very first friend I made on my very first day when I transferred to M.H.S. Because of her kindness that day, she has always held a special place in my heart. We took art classes together in high school and Shirley is also an amazing artist.
