If you’re traveling U.S. 50 in Marion County the past week or so, you may have experienced delays and one-lane traffic. On my trip to Newton on Saturday, I had to wait about 10 minutes.
I’m not sure where all the dust came from, but they were stirring it up.
There were several of these machines, cutting lines in the pavement to allow for expansion, contraction.
Looks like the dust comes from the man with the hose, he might be abrasive blasting the road with “sand”.
