Saturday at 10 a.m.

June 15th, 2011 at 10:15 am

Ahhhhh, Kansas!

For those of you in the Northeast Kansas area, come celebrate the Sesquicentennial with us on Saturday, June 18, at 10 a.m. in the Kansas Capitol.

I’ll be reading some of my very favorite Kansas essays and Don Lambert will portray Capitol muralist John Steuart Curry.

The details are here in a letter from Doyle Comfort to the Topeka Capitol Journal.

If you already have a Flyover People book and want it signed and/or personalized, bring it along. I will be able to sign books after the event, but because of statehouse rules, won’t be able to sell them.

There will be book-buying/signing opportunities on Saturday afternoon, from 1 – 3 p.m. at SouthWind Art Gallery in Topeka, 3074 SW 29th.
