From the KSHS: An anonymous Kansan has generously donated 10,000 “Proud Kansan” bumper stickers to commemorate the Kansas 150. Pick up your free bumper sticker at the Kansas Museum of History in Topeka or at one of the state historic sites across Kansas.

I picked up mine at the William Allen White State Historic Site here in Emporia.

  1. Yes! These were at the KNEA office when I was there last Saturday. I didn’t take one because of the word “Proud.” –especially after watching “What’s the matter with Kansas.” well, and I’m not sure about being a “proud” person, anyway……..I try to stay pretty humble….

  2. I’d really love to get one of these for a Kansas born relative but I’m not nearby. Any ideas how I could my hands on one?

  3. Karen – I’m not sure if they’re still available. I just had an extra one sitting here on my desk. You might check with the Kansas State Historical Society in Topeka.
