The City of Emporia has done a good job with snow removal this year. Much better than in previ0us years.
After last week’s snow, they hit the major arteries first and then even plowed the side streets. And they’re doing the same thing this week. When the storm moved on this morning, Emporians found themselves covered with 14.3 inches of snow. That’s a lot of snow to move.

I haven’t been out in this weather, but Millard has commented several times that the streets are very clean when he goes out. We (MIllard & Kelby) shoveled our driveway – just a couple of hours of work) then a road grader came along and did a great job with the street – blocking our driveway. 🙂 Our son-in-law fixed that in just a few minutes though.
