My mom sent me this photo today, so it had to be put to use.
Anyway, hey, this was what I was up to during the Kansas Centennial – I was playing ball in the house and wearing red Keds. For those of you who were around waaaayy back then, tell me something that you were doing in 1961.
Giving birth to my daughter! Love the photo of you! Precious!!
I had striped keds. I was in 5th grade looking at the solar system. Thanks for the photo, so calm. Glad your doing well.
I was working at the Otis Helium Plant, did not look as good as you with your red keds! Had a one year old daughter to show off!!

Awwww . . . ain’t she cute? I was 3 years old in 1961, probably riding my tricycle, tormenting our cat, and awaiting the arrival of Baby Sister (and Santa Claus, who was even more exciting to a 3-year-old).
