Melissa Windsor, Director of the Emporia Arts Council, is all smiles today at the opening of the new Arts Center in Emporia. The building is absolutely incredible. Several years ago, a campaign was started to raise money and, by golly, Emporia got behind it and raised the funds.

Today, only the front gallery was open for Art Gifts – the rest of the building will open in January.

Dave Leiker has photography up in both gallery rooms.  The blue photo in the center is getting a lot of attention today.

The Arts Center will be open until 5 p.m. today. Art Gifts continues during regular business hours through December.
