    Having been a visual artist for over forty years, I’m a little more sensitive than the average person to the point I’m about to make. Namely, that images of fine art should include the name of the artist if it is known. In this case, I’m reasonably sure that this sculpture is by Pete Felton of Hays…I would guess his name was somewhere on the base or on the piece…it’s no different than giving the title of your new book without giving the author’s name. All (most) artist’s like to be identified with images or references to their work. Wouldn’t you agree?

  2. Yes, of course you’re right, and usually I do include a photo of the nameplate or at least a name. But I failed to on this piece. If they posted the name of the artist, I don’t see it on the front of the piece. I didn’t walk behind the statue.
