Did you enter the Flyover People book giveaway and not win?

Here’s another chance.

Deborah Vogts, author of two Flint Hills-based Christian romance novels, is doing a Flyover People promotion on her blog, Country at Heart.

Deborah’s books are Kansas books, set in the lovely Flint Hills. And Deborah has quite a following with her romance novels Snow Melts in Spring, and Seeds of Summer published by Zondervan. She is currently working on a third book in the series, a book about autumn.

While I don’t read many romance novels, I’ve read her first one and it was a nice story about a veterinarian and a football star. And if I ever had time to read again, I’d pick up that second book of hers about a former Flint Hills Rodeo queen.

If you’re a fan of Deborah’s, you’ll have a chance to meet her at two signing events in October: Oct. 12, 5-7 p.m. at the Faith United Methodist Church in Parsons, and Oct. 23 at the Gridley Public Library from 10-11:30.

I enjoyed meeting Deborah when she signed books at Emporia’s Town Crier this past April. She’s very color-coordinated here, isn’t she? She sets a beautiful table.
