Gary Blitsch lined up the Radio Rich program for me on Wednesday morning in advance of that afternoon’s book-signing event at the SouthWind Gallery.

Radio Rich has an internet radio program which focuses on local events. You can listen online here.

By the time I got to Radio Rich, I had survived live TV (WIBW the previous day), so for this show, I was not the least bit apprehensive – and I just had a wonderful time visiting with Radio Rich, Keith the Critic and Gary.

We talked about my book for 10-15 minutes and I read one of the essays and then in the second half of the segment, Gary Blitsch talked about the event SouthWind Gallery is putting on this weekend at Ensley Gardens: Ensley Garden Plein Air Art Exhibit and Sale.

Radio Rich is a very pleasant guy and is receptive to talking on air with anyone who has local/regional events, so if anyone here in NE Kansas has something going on, contact Radio Rich and get on the Internet air with him.

I imagine he has a pretty good Topeka-area following. For many years, he had a very popular morning show, “Radio Rich and LouAnn,” until the station’s ownership decided to get rid of local programming and run syndicated shows. At that point, Radio Rich & Friends started their own broadcasting station.
